Our approach

Because of its location in the Cotswolds – in an area rich with historic buildings, the Practice has developed an expertise in the repair, alteration and extension of listed buildings. However, the specialist knowledge gained in this field has informed our work on new buildings and we have an enthusiasm for modern design – where it is appropriate. That is reflected in our work on schools, museums, visitor centres and some recent houses.

We accept commissions on as wide a range of projects as possible. We see ourselves as a general practice with capable designers able to focus on the specific requirements of any type of project and to produce designs that are not just functional but are beautiful to look at and a joy to live or work in.

In all we do, the emphasis is on building the brief with the client and thorough and painstaking research. Our design work is characterised by an attention to detail and an emphasis on high quality and innovation. We take a large proportion of our projects onto site and believe in working in partnership with the best contractors to complete buildings on time and on budget.
